RPM SPORTS and Renfe have achieved a collaboration with which the railway company becomes the Official Train in the next editions of four of its races: the Clásica Salto 15K Donostia – San Sebastián on 22th of October, the Zurich Maratón San Sebastián on 26th of November and the eDreams Mitja Marató Barcelona and the Zurich Marató Barcelona in 2024, next 11th of February and 10th of March, respectively.

With this initiative, Renfe reaffirms its commitment as the Spanish Sports Train and with which both organisations want to promote the use of the train as a sustainable transport method for the participants in these multitudinous races in Barcelona and San Sebastián through discounts on the weekend of the events with the registration of the races. Athletes will be able to enjoy a 10% discount on Renfe services. In addition, the train company values very positively to be able to link its image to one of the most popular athletics events in the country.

The sports agency also aims to organise events that, from start to finish, are increasingly environmentally friendly and generate as little pollution and waste as possible.

The athletes, the team and the fans can use Renfe’s services to travel between Spanish cities. Renfe has a complete range of high-speed, AVE and Avlo, Intercity, Euromed and Alvia trains that connect Madrid and Barcelona with the Mediterranean corridor, the south and the north of the peninsula.
