The 35th eDreams Mitja Marató Barcelona by Brooks has more than 15,000 runners with six months before the race

Barcelona’s half marathon has reached the best number of registered participants in its history, with half a year to go until the next edition is held

With half a year to go until the 35th edition is held next 16th of February 2025 and only four months after opening registrations, the eDreams Mitja Marató Barcelona by Brooks has sold more than 15,000 bibs. A number of registrations that triples the ones obtained last year at this same point and that means the best progression of registered runners in the history of this half marathon.

Moreover, it is worth mentioning that the eDreams Mitja Marató Barcelona by Brooks, together with the other big half marathons in the country (Seville, Madrid, Valencia and also Behobia) will once again be part of the Plátano de Canarias National Running Circuit. Likewise, Barcelona’s half marathon is one of the only three half marathons in Central Europe that is Gold Label, as well as the Valencia half marathon and the Istanbul half marathon in Turkey. In fact, this Barcelona’s race already has this quality label since 2018 and is one of the eight half marathons worldwide that will have this distinction by 2025.
