Triple victory of Kipromo Menjo and Natalia Rodríguez


The Kenyan Kipromo Menjo and Natalia Rodríguez from Tarragona have won this morning the 87th edition of the Jean Bouin Grand Prize Expofinques. This is the third time that both athletes obtain the triumph in the oldest race of the Spanish calendar, which this year has obtained its record of participation with a total of 10.215 athletes distributed in 12 races. Menjo won with a time of 29'34" in 10.000 meters with two seconds of advantage on the Galician Manuel Penas and four on the Moroccan Driss Lakhouaja. And Natalie stopped the chronometer in 22'11" in 6.635 meters of the feminine race, ahead of the Kenyan Eunice Jepkorir and Meritxell Calduch, from Manresa.

Roger Roca has obtained his third victory in the popular race of the Bouin and Inna Levedieva has won for the first time in the feminine category of the Open.
