Mitja Marató de Barcelona, among other, demonstrates this quantitative and qualitative growth. And this weekend this was proved with the
Race of the Vila Olimpica, a classic of the Catalan calendar that celebrated its 21st edition. In spite of the strong heat, more than 2.000 runners participated in the race.
Paul Sie Kwasi, did the 10 kilometers of the race in 30'52", he was the winner in masculine category,
Abdeslam al-Ouhabi was second and
Juan Manuel Álvarez, third. On the other hand,
Carme Auñón with a time of 37'57" won in feminine category over
Eva Parrado and
Alicia Bergada.
