KIPCHOGE ALREADY SHOWED HIMSELF IN THE EDREAMS MITJA MARATÓ DE BARCELONA

18/09/2018

The athlete demonstrated his quality in our half marathon. Eliud Kipchoge, world record of marathon after having stopped the chrono in Berlin with 2 hours, 1 minute and 39 seconds, ran the Mitja Marathon de Barcelona two times being winner in both.

The Kenyan won the editions of 2013 (at that moment he established the best record of the race) and 2014. In the first edition his record was 1h04”, which means that he ran the 21.197 meters to 2’51” the kilometre, slightly faster than in Berlin, whose average was 2’53”. Curiously, in his second victory in Barcelona he run slower (1.00.52, which means 2’54” the kilometre) than in the marathon of the last weekend.
