Mitja Marató de Barcelona 2010

Do you want to break your record?

In its 21st edition, and for the first time in history, the Mitja Marató de Barcelona will incorporate as a great innovation the presence of pacemakers to indicate until seven different rhythms to help those runners who want to make a concrete record (1:15, 1:20, 1:25, 1:30, 1:40, 1:50 and 2:00h). The presence of "pacemakers" in la Mitja de Barcelona is a differential factor in relation to the rest of races, as usually in the half marathons or there are not or only exit of a determinate rhythm.

This service is usual in the marathons - la Marató de Barcelona has it - as the pacemakers are very useful and an added value for you all as they help to follow a constant and adequate rhythm to make a concrete time. In the premiere of the initiative, for each of the 7 rhymes there will be two or three pacemakers uniformed to be identified and differentiate from the rest of runners. They will be placed in the departure boxes and also will carry a globe of 40 cm of the color of the box from which they start (yellow, red or green) with the time indicated in order they can be seen and followed.

Don't doubt it. If you want to break your record, you have pacemakers at your disposal to do it.
